San Luis Obispo Daybreak

If you happen to miss a Tuesday morning meeting, there are a variety of ways to make up for it. Our club's current policies require that members who miss a meeting complete a make up requirement within two weeks of the missed meeting. Here are some ways you can do so:
  • Attend a Rotary District 5240 meeting, seminar or PRLS class
  • Attend a SLO Daybreak fundraiser
  • Visit a Board of Directors or a club committee meeting
  • Participate in a club community service project - local or international
  • Attend an Interact or Rotaract meeting
  • Have "Coffee with President John"
  • Go to an online meeting such as Rotary e-Club One or E-Clubs around the World

Remember to notify our club secretary, Harry Sharp, when you do a make up. Historically, our club had the highest rate of attendance in District 5240, but some club members need to make a better effort to get us back up to the upper 90+ percentile! And sorry folks, attending social events or being somewhere and running into a few other Rotarians doesn't count. However, there are a lot of ways to get an A+ as a regular attendee and we want to make sure our club members stay engaged in our activities and connected with each other. That's why our club policies require strong attendance - we want everyone to participate and get the most out of your Rotary membership.
