Did You Miss a Meeting?

Posted on Jul 10, 2017
If you happen to miss a Tuesday morning meeting, there are a variety of ways to make up for it. Our club's current policies require that members who miss a meeting complete a make up requirement within two weeks of the missed meeting. And we pride ourselves in historically having over 90%+ attendance in comparison to other clubs throughout our district.

Here are the ways you can do so, and help keep our attendance track record high:
  • Attend a Rotary District 5240 meeting, seminar or PRLS class
  • Attend a SLO Daybreak fundraiser
  • Visit a Board of Directors meeting (second Monday of each month, 5:30pm) or a club committee meeting
  • Participate in a club community service project - local or international
  • Attend an Interact or Rotaract meeting
  • Join a small group meeting with President Wilson
  • Complete an online meeting such as Rotary e-Club One or E-Clubs around the World

Remember to notify our club secretary, Dave Wilsonwhen you do a make up - he reports our club's attendance monthly to Rotary District 5240. And sorry folks, attending social events or being somewhere and running into a few other Rotarians doesn't count, however fun and productive it may be! However, there are a lot of ways to get an A+ as a regular attendee and we want to make sure our club members stay engaged in our activities and connected with each other. That's why our club policies require consistent attendance - we want everyone to get the most out of their Rotary membership.
