Congratulations to this year's K-12 teachers who were awarded a grant to support youth education in San Luis Obispo. Here are this year's recipients:
Amanda Lake, Laguna Middle School, $500 toward travel expenses to "Guest Conductor".
Melinda Mikuls, Pacheco Elementary School, $500 for hands-on and adaptive situations materials for special education students.
Sally Lamas, Sinsheimer Elementary School, $500 for painting supplies for student created mural for school fence.
Monica Reichmuch, Bishop's Peak Elementary School, requests $500 for reading academic support materials.
