Hello all, and Happy November. This year is just flying by. Everyone tells you to buckle up, it's going to whiz by...but you never quite believe it until you are in it. This month our club held a Community Service Food Drive to collect food and canned goods for a local community pantry housed on the property of one of our members. So proud to see the membership coming together to support the community.
This month, we start the process of our Teachers Grants. Annually, we send out request letters and applications to San Luis Obispo schools, asking for proposals on projects by local K-12 teachers. On January 16th, we will announce the recipients and welcome them to our weekly meeting to discuss the projects with the club. Our Membership Director, Matt Janetski, has graciously taken the reigns on the process this year and we are excited to see what we are presented with.
