Natalie Harnett, Policy and Program Manager: The City invites you to collaborate on ideas for accomplishing community-identified priorities over the next two years. Join your neighbors, friends, and family at the 2025 Community Forum at the Ludwick Community Center on January 23 from 6 to 9 p.m. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and a free bike valet will be available for anyone who chooses to ride their bike to the Community Forum. Parents are encouraged to bring their children, as some childcare options will be available.
“If you care about San Luis Obispo and have ideas for our future, this is an opportunity to have your voice heard and shape the work the City will do for the two upcoming fiscal years,” said City Manager Whitney McDonald. “This is a fun and popular event that results in meaningful, community-driven projects, programs and services. Your voice is invaluable, and we encourage everyone to attend and participate.”
The 2025 Community Forum is an in-person public event that gives community members the opportunity to shape citywide goals. The 2025 Community Forum is also a joint meeting of the City Council and Revenue Enhancement Oversight Commission (REOC). Attendees are encouraged to review the 2025-27 Community Priorities Survey results prior to attending. For more details and the current fiscal year’s budget information, visit www.slocity.org/budget.
