The Rotary Club of SLO Daybreak recently announced the recipients of its 2020 Community Awards, to programs serving youth, education, families and seniors in the City of San Luis Obispo. Applicants for the small grant awards are nominated by club members and a review committee makes recommendations to the club's Board of Directors. The following organizations are this year's recipients:
Big Brothers Big Sisters of SLO County - School Based program snacks
Community Action Partnership of SLO County - Dinner meals at 40 Prado
Hospice of SLO County - End of life care, grief and support services
Jack's Helping Hand - Little Swimmers and Water Warriors programs
Pregnancy and Parenting Support of SLO - Diapers and wipes
SLO County YMCA - Financial aid for youth attending Camp THRIVE
SLO Food Bank - Breakfast Bags and Children's Farmers' Markets programs
SLO Noor Clinic - Clinic program support
The First Tee of Central Coast - Financial aid for youth participants
